Excellent techniques, producing the subtle, yet distinct effects needed for realism.
I am trying to reproduce the effect, of a football player bursting through a banner, and onto the field, so to speak, [kind of like an “Out of bounds” picture]. I would like to create, as an example, a piece of paper with a ragged tear in the middle, and the edges of the tear, of course, distorted [folded] realistically, inward towards the viewer. I can sort of do it, by creating shapes, using paths, but am not happy with my results.
If there are any techniques, directions, thoughts, tutorials or help you might be willing to convey, I would forever be greatfull.
With eager anticipation

P.S. Am using Photoshop 7 “TKS”
