Practical Tips
Try the interface in Photoshop beta and use these steps to make the transition easier:
- Install Photoshop beta through the Creative Cloud app before looking for the new interface options.
- Open Settings on Mac or Preferences on Windows, choose Interface, and enable Modern User Interface.
- Enable Modern Color User Interface separately if you also want the updated color controls.
- Turn off “Show Tool Groups on Hover” in Tools preferences if you prefer click-and-hold flyouts.
- Use Quick Compare to switch between your session’s original image and current edit, or drag the divider in split view.
